*CALL FOR PAPERS*

*Deadline for submissions: February 15th 2012*

*Toma Uno*is an annual academic peer-reviewed journal, edited both in
print and online by the Department of Film and Television at the
National University of Córdoba, Argentina. It publishes original
(previously unpublished) articles on subjects concerning cinema and
audiovisual arts in general (video, television, digital media,
multimedia, etc.). *Toma Uno* accepts contributions in Spanish,
Portuguese and English.


*Toma Uno*is currently seeking submissions for its first issue, which
will center on the topic “/The representation of reality/”. The journal
is organized in three sections:


I. /THINKING CINEMA/ (Theoretical and critical issues)

II. /MAKING CINEMA/ (Topics regarding filmmaking)

III. /TEACHING CINEMA/ (Issues regarding the teaching of film production
and audiovisual language)

Contributions received through this call for papers will be subject to
double blind peer reviewing.
